Build Your Kitchen Economy.

Turn your kitchen techniques, family heritage, and signature dishes into recurring monthly income.

Not live yet. This is how creator earnings will work on Collective Cooks. Master-tier recipes, the Collective Pass and payouts are still being built — nothing here is accepting payments or paying out today. Keep publishing; recipes you share now will count.

Traditional food media relies on clickbait, intrusive popups, and endless ads that pay creators pennies on raw traffic.

Collective Cooks is built around real kitchen utility. All core kitchen tools — interactive Cook Mode, ingredient scaling, meal planning, and smart grocery lists — are completely free for every cook. Members subscribe to the Collective Pass for $5/month or $50/year specifically to unlock master-tier recipes.

Masterclasses are open to everyone. They are not part of the Pass: any cook, free or subscribed, can book a class, and the host sets the ticket price for each one. When someone subscribes to access your recipes, or books a seat in your class, you earn transparently and directly.

1. Direct subscriber referral — keep 65%, recurring

Bring your existing audience, newsletter readers, or social followers into your kitchen on Collective Cooks.

2. The community royalty pool — views and attempts

You don't need an existing following to start earning. Even when members join through another creator or find the platform on their own, you get paid when your recipes deliver real kitchen value.

3. Live and interactive cooking classes — 65% host cut

Turn your kitchen into an interactive studio. Host intimate workshops, or collaborate with fellow creators on live culinary events.

The recipe lifecycle: how to structure your content

Free discovery dishes — map and search

Share foundational dishes, cultural backstories, and everyday staples openly. These drive search traffic, get shared socially, and introduce new cooks to your profile.

Collective Pass master recipes

Designate your signature dishes, multi-day cures, and proprietary sauces as Pass-tier. The backstory, photos, and ingredient list stay open to the public to drive interest, while the exact execution and your chef notes unlock for Pass members.

Live masterclasses — open to all, priced per class

Host live cook-along workshops for complex recipes. Anyone on Collective Cooks can book, whether or not they hold a Pass, and you set the ticket price for each class individually. You keep 65% of all bookings.

This is the one part of the platform that is not a subscription decision: a cook who never subscribes can still pay to sit in your class, which makes classes the widest audience you can charge.

Backend and financial infrastructure

Free utility strategy

Providing Cook Mode and shopping lists for free removes onboarding friction, turning casual visitors into daily kitchen users who convert naturally to the Pass when they want master-tier content.

Stripe Connect split logic

Weighted pool distribution

Creator Score =
  (Unique Recipe Views × Wv)
+ (Completed Cook Mode Sessions × Wc)
+ (Photo-Verified Attempts × Wa)

Each creator's share of the monthly pool is their score as a proportion of all creators' scores. Weights favour evidence of real cooking: a photo-verified attempt counts for more than a page view.
